The Worry Book Back
The Worry Book was created in memory of a lost loved one for a client.
It was bound with lavender and sage underneath the fabric along with a picture of the loved one (not shown).
The idea was to have knots tied to the cover to help protect the memories. Each page is coffee roasted through a process I tried for the first time. I roasted each page with coffee grounds scattered across to get the map paper color. This book was not made to be written in and purely for ornamental reasons, as the coffee grounds would make it hard to write on.
This book is complete with corner protectors, coffee roasted paper, knotted twine, and an amethyst worry stone adjusted to the cover. The entire process took 20 hours working time.
