I Want To Break Free
This poster was created using Adobe Photoshop.
I wanted the words to be transparent to add to the painting instead of taking away from it, in a sort of break-away style to also reflect the song's title. I went with a white stroke and shadow effect to make it look as if it is a window within the letters.
Using Adobe Illustrator, I created this poster for my take on a concert I attended in 2017.
One of the main features of the concert was the stage, it had a large prop to resemble the Joshua Tree while the stage was shaped as the tree's shadow. With this in mind, I knew I wanted to reflect that in the poster by designing the tree to be horizontally mirrored in the very middle of the page and using grey on the lower half as it is the shadow.
